exercises for people with diabetes
Written by DiabeTV

Exercise can be the perfect pill, the solution to most of our health problems. We spend a lot of money and a lot of time shopping for the perfect outfits to make ourselves look and feel good.

But what happen if we spend at least 30 minutes of that time by being active and engage in some kind of physical activity? The results could be exactly what you are dreaming of.

It is not a magic trick it is real. Exercise can help us with:

  • Better mood.
  • More energy.
  • Weight loss.
  • Better sex life.
  • Turn fat into muscle.
  • Reducing stress, anxiety and depression.
  • Making us feel great, look great and most important, makes us proud of ourselves.

Here is perfect, simple and easy plan to start your daily exercise routine:

Try to walk 30 minutes a day, most days of the week, at a “talking” pace. Talking pace means you have elevated breathing, but you can still carry a conversation.

After a few weeks when you start you feel comfortable, try to improve cardiovascular fitness by walking 2 to 3 days a week at a faster pace. At this pace you are breathing hard but not gasping for air.

There is absolutely no excuse for a person to be sedentary.

Like Arnold Schwarzenegger once said during his busy tenure ad Governor of California: “The day has 24 hours, if I can’t find at least 1 to exercise, I’m failing as a human being and as an example to younger generations”.

Be active. Be better. Be healthier.
